Аннотация на русском языке: В статье представлен анализ внешней политики Соединенных Штатов Америки, показана ее эволюция от концепции изоляционизма, которая формировалась годами еще со времен основания США, к вступлению во Вторую мировую войну в качестве участника и члена антигитлеровской коалиции. В результате проведенного исследования подтверждается постепенный переход от политики нейтралитета, отказа от вмешательства в конфликты за пределами американского континента к интернационализму. Эта новая политика подразумевала активное участие США в разрешении вопросов, касающихся национальных интересов, даже в ущерб интересам других государств. Такой подход, в свою очередь, способствовал нарушению мирового баланса сил, что проявилось во Второй мировой войне.

The summary in English: Тhe article presents an analysis of the foreign policy of the United States of America, showing its evolution from the policy of isolationism, which has been formed over the years since the founding of the United States, to the entry into World War II as a participant and ally of the USSR and Great Britain. As a result of the conducted research, the gradual transition from the policy of neutrality, refusal to interfere in conflicts outside the American continent, which dominated from the moment the country was founded until the 1910s, to internationalism is confirmed. This new policy implied the active participation of the United States in resolving issues related to national interests, even to the detriment of the interests of other states. This approach, in turn, contributed to the disruption of the global balance of power, which manifested itself in the Second World War.
